The Coach House Courtyard, Italian Terrace & Peacock Bar

Restored in 2015, creating a fine space for weddings and parties in addition to the main house and gardens, the Coach House Courtyard is a terrific and incredibly flexible location for couples to take full advantage of when planning how their Wedding celebrations may unfold at Coombe Trenchard.

Hidden from the gaze of your guests until you choose to share it - the Coach House lends itself remarkably well for Weddings, and not forgetting a great party! The sympathetic restoration of this characterful stone-built building is just beautiful.

Approached from the Italian Terrace to the east of the main house, through two large oak doors, The Coach House Courtyard is self contained, and can be used for many different elements of a wedding day - to include the Civil Ceremony, reception and evening party.

In contrast to the ornamental detail of the main house, the Coach House is steeped with chilled character and relaxed luxe charm with stone floors, white washed walls, vaulted ceilings, a clear span central column - a heady combination of open space and cosiest of corners.

Two raised seating areas situated in front of Coach House, are ideal spots to relax and chatter the evening away with friends and family. At dusk, the Coombe Trenchard fire-pits and candles will be lit, and the marshmallows will be ready for toasting!

The Peacock Bar
