Vintage country weddings at Coombe Trenchard
We do vintage weddings very very well at Coombe Trenchard.
Think rustic, country-chic, romance… the prettiest china, champagne saucers, antique lace, cut garden flowers in antique jugs, croquet on the lawn, a historic clock tower, peacocks roaming, and so much more.
Built at the foot of beautiful Dartmoor in Devon in 1906 for a wealthy Edwardian couple who loved to entertain, the house and gardens are fabulous examples of the Arts & Crafts era, which delighted in handcrafted, individual style and beauty.
The house itself bears some stunning and unique period features, including hand-carved doors, sweeping staircases, antique furniture and objects d'art ... as well as its fascinating Disappearing Wall.
Approached via a 1km driveway, Coombe Trenchard is surrounded by beautiful pasture, woodland, and the prettiest of gardens with bridges, terraces, walks and many Arts & Crafts features - the perfect ingredients for a stunning vintage country house wedding.
Vintage treasures, props and treats galore
In addition to our beautiful setting, Coombe Trenchard couples can enjoy full use of our vintage props, styling advice and support services on the day, ensuring a wedding at Coombe Trenchard runs smoothly, stylishly, and above all with great ease.
Take advantage of our vintage china and champagne saucers, our vintage table linens and lace, our antique chairs, our baskets of real petal confetti for the ceremony, our cutting garden flowers for bouquets and table decor, our candles, signage, garden games, fire pits, and so much more - we have quite the collection.
We can also serve a scrumptious homemade cream tea and other goodies too.
